“ It was a great experience at La Taverne with nice food and friendly waiters specially Sam who was patiently helping me with French menu and translations. Highly recommended. ”

Stunning design and decor, impeccable service, very friendly staff (some of which make a real effort with English speaking customers who are too lazy to learn French) and last but certainly not least, the food is gorgeous and having stayed on a work trip for 2 weeks, I was able to try multiple dishes and none of them were off the mark. “ Great restaurant! We stayed at the hotel just a few steps away and just wanted a quick meal. We were seated immediately on the very nice (and big) patio. Comfy chairs, good sized table. Our waiter was really helpful and expedient. For a kind of touristy area, his English was a bit off (and the positive reviews of English speaking staff was one of the things that sold it to us). We made it work though, what he lacked in English, we lacked in French and after all – we're in France, so... Language barrier aside, beer and food came promptly. We both had the house special burger and two beers. For dessert a huge serving of tarte tartin. Highly doubt I will ever be back in the area, but if so, I'll definitely be returning here to eat! ”

We didn’t get much beyond the burgers section of the menu but they were really good; lots of other tasty looking options on offer though. Fantastic fries. Overall not too expensive either.
